Popeye was right, eating spinach is very important because it contains iron. During the second and third quarter, demand for iron triples and the recommended daily intake is 30 milligrams. The small house also should consume iron for infants breast milk and iron-fortified formulas are sufficient, but the cow’s milk, soy and goat are low in iron and therefore not recommended for children under 1 year. At age 6 months is important to feed them with fruits, vegetables and vitamin C-rich juices and to also ingest iron. Foods that contain iron include beef, turkey, shrimp, eggs, beans, plums and spinach.
